The McMichael gallery is perched atop the majestic Humber Valley on 100 acres of stunning woodland. This national gallery welcomes visitors from all over the world for special exhibitions and the renowned permanent collection, which consists of almost 6,000 artworks by Tom Thomson, the Group of Seven, their contemporaries, and Aboriginal and contemporary artists. Visitors can explore the Tom Thomson Shack, the Sculpture Garden, and the Artists’ Cemetery. Visitors also enjoy musical concerts, theatrical presentations, art lectures and classes, tours, family programming, artist demonstrations, and so much more.
