CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING

  • Friday, November 28, 2013
  • 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
  • Corner of Nashville Road and Islington Avenue

DETAILS

Kleinburg’s annual tree lighting ceremony takes place at the Kline House. Those who make the trip enjoy Christmas carols, hot chocolate, apple cider and roasted chestnuts, while being serenaded by Community Singers, as they eagerly await the lighting of the tree. Representatives and stations are also available for guests at the ceremony to make donations to The Red Bow Campaign, in support of the Sick Kids Hospital Foundation. Guests who donate receive a red bow to hang on the community tree. Non-perishable food items are also collected at the Kline House to help kick off the annual KARA Holiday Food Drive.
